The first instance it defeated Sainthood who admittedly wasn't fit at the time then subsequently ran 2nd to and then defeated the very much in form Sir Nick who itself won 6 races in that preparation.

Those ratings and the fact that Reprobate handles the Slow/Heavy conditions will make it difficult to hold out at the end of 1200m.

We priced it a $4.80 chance and the market is offering $9.50 at present making it a terrific value bet.

Caulfield Race 6: # 10 VELOCITEA .

Does take on the males but facts are facts and there's no denying this game little mare credit.Has won at this distance at Group level on 3 occaisions twice at Group 3 and won the Group 1 Goodwood at Morphetville to boot.

Has had a brief let up since then and resumes here and had a first up record of 3 wins from 5.

She will be just off the pace in the run and on ratings at this trip and is well entitled to be the favourite.
