Who is in control?

Now, who is running the game of AFL football.

Who is in control of your footy team?

Is it the coach? Or has the power been handed over to sports scientists?

Rotations/interchanges are rising each year.

The Hawks have the individual record of 156 coming out of last week's game. That record is likely to be short-lived.

Freo and the Western Bulldogs created a combined new match record of 294.

Coaches are being herded to the boundary line, and now coach from a spot where their viewing is very limited.

So who is calling the shots?

A decision on capping or not capping rotations will be made in the coming months, and it will be made for the good of the game as a whole, other than individual club lobbying.

Who is calling the shots? Those who are able to change the rules. Why cap the interchanges/rotations? If it ain't broke etc. The one issue that is really pissing me off is that rules are being reviewed and changed during a football season. As a supporter it would be nice to be able to watch JUST ONE season without wondering at the start of the game if I know what the rules are. Review the rules during the off season and run the entire season on ONE SET OFF RULES ALL SEASON! All these rule reviews are really killing the game for the supporters.
