Port Adelaide superstar Ollie Wines says he is still “weighing up” his future, and expects to announce a decision in the next two-to-three weeks.
Wines is out of contract at the end of the season, and hasn’t made a commitment to the Power at this stage.
“I’m not sure yet,” he told SEN Breakfast.
“I’m still weighing it up at this stage.”
It is a backflip from when Wines spoke on SEN’s Time On earlier this year, where he pledged a long-time commitment to Port Adelaide.
The 23-year-old has since spoken to numerous parties about his future, with his thinking now suddenly unknown.
“I haven’t really put a timeframe on it,” Wines said.
“I’d love to get it done in the next couple of weeks, but it depends how I’m feeling and how everything comes to play. Probably within the next two-to-three weeks.
“I’ve been able to talk to my family a lot, my management and we are just working through the decision.
“It’s sort of left up to me to make and I’ve had all the information from the various parties and understand what’s going forward.

“That will happen sooner. I’ve been saying that for a while, so people are probably a bit frustrated with that, but it’s a decision I’m not going to take lightly.
“An AFL career is pretty short these days, and whenever you sign a contract you got to make sure you’re in it 100 percent.
“It will happen soon.”
Wines also added any club has the right to explore their options with out of contract players.
