AFL games record holder Brent Harvey believes Melbourne spearhead Jesse Hogan “will” leave the club at some stage in his career.
Hogan sits third on the Coleman Medal tally with 36 goals and is contracted with the Demons through to the end of the 2019 season.
“I think he will (leave Melbourne),” Harvey told Future Stars.
“I think one day he will leave. I don’t know if it’s this year, next year or the year after, but one day he’ll end up in Perth.”
Harvey looks to Fremantle and their forward line issues as the perfect landing spot for Hogan.
“Michael Walters has kicked 16 goals and is leading the goal tally, Hayden Ballantyne has kicked 14 their scoring power is an issue,” he said.
“Cam McCarthy has played 11 games and kicked 12 goals.
“They need to target a big position player again.”
