Gold Coast Suns coach Stuart Dew isn’t confident star forward Tom Lynch will stay with the club, saying “it’s not looking great”.
Lynch has been linked to Richmond, Hawthorn and Collingwood, and Dew is getting ready for life without his co-captain.
"I think history suggests that if you don't know at Round 18, and he's our captain, it's not looking great,” he said.
"That's the reality of AFL footy. We're certainly planning for both (scenarios).
"With Tom out for the year, we have parked it.
"We're trying to snap a losing streak and Tom at the moment can't help us with that."
Lynch is currently in Melbourne to undergo surgery on his injured knee. He has played 131 games for the Suns, booting 254 goals.
