Gold Coast midfielder David Swallow is reportedly weighing up his future at the Suns, with the Herald Sun suggesting he is open to moving to one of two Western Australian clubs.
According to the report, Fremantle are interested in bringing Swallow back to Perth to bolster their midfield stocks.
The Dockers' lack of a second round pick is seen to be the stumbling block in the potential trade, given the 25-year-old is still contracted for next year.
It could be another hammer blow for the Suns, with the future of out of contract co-captain Tom Lynch still undecided.
Swallow was taken at pick one by the expansion club in the 2010 draft from East Fremantle and has played 113 games for the club.
