Former Australian Diamond Bianca Chatfield has been passionate about female sports her whole life.
This year, she will be hosting Women’s Footy, which will air on Channel 9 every Sunday during the AFLW season.
Chatfield is eager to experience the AFLW in a different light.

“I’m pretty excited about it,” she told SEN SA Breakfast.
“I’ve obviously just grown up playing female sport and I’m pretty passionate about it so it’s exciting that I get to be a part of AFLW in this way.”
Chatfield praised the way AFLW players conduct themselves in the media, and is looking forward to working more closely with them as the season progresses.
“The bit I love about AFLW players in comparison to netball players is netballers have been media trained, they say the right thing, they say all the sporting cliches, whereas the AFLW players are still raw and real and they just give themselves and I really enjoy that,” she said.
“I can’t wait to be more a part of it.”
A perfect example of that rawness is Haneen Zreika's reaction to being selected for the GWS Giants. See below.
