Godolphin won its third Stradbroke Handicap in three years, with Trekking comfortably accounting for his rivals in the $1.5 million Group 1 at Eagle Farm.
The Street Cry gelding was given a peach of a ride from star jockey Kerrin McEvoy, who earlier won the G1 J.J. Atkins Plate aboard Prince Fawaz.
Trekking settled midfield and blended into the race soon after straightening for home, before exploding away for a decisive victory – his first at the top level.
Tyzone ran on well to run second, with Endless Drama back in third.
"It's a great thrill, he's a genuine little racehorse," McEvoy told Channel 7.
"It's a huge thrill to do it in the Godolphin colours. Well done to (trainer) James (Cummings) and his team.

"He's been in great order, we knew coming back to a handicap was going to suit him. We just got a lovely run throughout the race and the horse did the rest.
"He travelled like a dream and he picked up like he can."
