Hawthorn ruckman Marc Pittonet is set to join Carlton on a multi-year contract, according to The Age.
It’s understood Pittonet has knocked back a one-year offer from the Hawks to take up a two-year deal from the Blues.
The 23-year-old’s impending arrival will provide back-up to veteran Blue Matthew Kreuzer with Andrew Phillips linked with a move to Essendon.
Pittonet is behind Ben McEvoy and Jonathan Ceglar in the ruck pecking order at Hawthorn.
Taken with pick No.50 in the 2014 draft, Pittonet has played just seven senior games with two of those coming in 2019.
