A controversial DRS call has divided opinion in the first innings of the Perth test.
Colin de Grandhomme was given out caught behind by contentious umpire Aleem Dar off a ripping bouncer from Mitchell Starc.
The Kiwi immediately reviewed it, with the majority of the noise clearly coming from the ball hitting his helmet.
Snicko appeared to show the tiniest noise to suggest the ball clipped the glove on the way through, but it was certainly inconclusive. Hot Spot also came up blank.
Because umpire Dar gave it out on the field, the decision stood, with insufficient evidence to overturn the wicket, according to the third umpire.

General consensus seems to suggest he should not have been given out.

Horrendous by DRS again. And what a shocker Aleem Dar is having already.

Aleem Dar is a dreadfully bad umpire. Has been for some time.
