With the AFL reportedly considering a State of Origin game in late February to help raise money for bushfire relief, the question turns to what the teams would look like
The Herald Sun are suggesting it will only be one match and set at Marvel Stadium, which likely means it will be Victoria versus the Dream Team, rather than the traditional matchups.
The Dream Team will be an amalgamation of the best players outside of Victoria, as it was in 2008 in the Hall of Fame Tribute Match.
Putting these teams together was incredibly difficult, with so many players on both sides unlucky to miss out.
For Victoria, Zach Merrett, Todd Goldstein, Nick Vlastuin, Adam Treloar, Clayton Oliver and Andrew Gaff are among the incredibly unlucky to miss.
On the Dream Team side, Ben Brown, Brad Hill, Rory Laird, Josh Kennedy, Jason Johannisen, Dane Rampe and Dayne Beams miss out.
The Victorian coaches: Alastair Clarkson and Damien Hardwick
The Dream Team coaches: Nathan Buckley and John Longmire
