Essendon and defender Adam Saad are not on the same page when it comes to contract negotiations, according to the Herald Sun.
The report suggests the two are far apart in discussions, despite his strong start to the 2020 season.
Saad signed a three-year deal when joining the Bombers from Gold Coast, which is up at the end of the year.
The rebounding defender is averaging 24 disposals and four rebound 50s per game so far in 2020.
Saad has proven himself as both an attacking defender and one who can lock down the opposition’s best small forward.
He could potentially be the top rebounding defender on the market come the end of the year.
