UP TO four clubs are in danger of being fined by the AFL for protocol breaches in the northern hubs.
The AFL is currently investigating the clubs and the multiple potential breaches alleged to have occurred in recent days.
The investigation comes as more than 400 family members get set to fly north on Thursday to join the clubs based there for the rest of the season.
The AFL again reminded club chiefs on Wednesday morning that the families were their responsibility as the season hangs on a knife edge.
Sydney and GWS will leave for their Queensland hubs on Thursday; forced into an early move after a recent spike in Covid cases prompted the Sunshine State to close its borders to Sydney from 1am Saturday.
