Essendon will reportedly attempt to lure premiership Richmond midfielder Jack Graham to the club in the trade period.
The 22-year-old is out of contract at the end of the year and the Bombers are keen to add to their midfield depth, according to The Age’s Jake Niall.
The Richmond blueprint is already quite evident at Essendon, with soon-to-be senior coach Ben Rutten and assistant coach Blake Caracella having spent time at the club.
The Bombers are lacking inside midfielder depth around the likes of Zach Merrett, Dylan Shiel, Darcy Parish and Andrew McGrath and Graham would fill that role.
The report adds that Adelaide is also interested in Graham, who hails from North Adelaide in the SANFL.
