Adelaide midfielder Brad Crouch has been linked with a shock move to bitter rivals Port Adelaide.
According to Seven News in Adelaide, Crouch’s management would welcome offers from the Power with the out-of-contract Crow still weighing up his future.
It’s understood Crouch, who was approached by the Gold Coast Suns during last year's trade period, is seeking a five-year contract to remain at West Lakes.
“It's understood his management in his camp is considering or open to offers to join Port Adelaide,” reporter Theo Doropoulos told Seven News.
“Crouch is an unrestricted free agent and has consistently said he wants to stay a Crow.
“But given his injury history the club won’t give him a five-year deal he has been chasing, forcing him to look elsewhere.
“The 26-year-old loves living in Adelaide and would prefer to stay so a move across to Alberton does make sense.
“A significant offer for the star midfielder would give the Crows another first-round pick they desperately want.”
Crouch, 26, has also been linked with a move to Geelong.
Adelaide’s reigning best and fairest winner is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.
