The Victorian club who should be calling Lewis Jetta

Former AFL assistant Rob Harding has implored Melbourne to pursue Lewis Jetta.

The 31-year-old premiership player was last week delisted by West Coast, somewhat surprisingly to many onlookers.

Harding believes Jetta’s attributes would be a great fit for the Demons and suggests they should be giving him a call this off-season.

“I was a little bit surprised,” he told SEN’s Bob and Andy.

“If Melbourne don’t pick up the phone and ring Lewis Jetta I’d be very surprised.

“Outside class, ball use, running ability, can play wing and half-back.

“Just ticks every box for Melbourne, so I would hope they would make that phone call.”

Jetta, the cousin of Dees defender Neville, spent five seasons with the Eagles, playing 75 games, after 127 appearances over six years with the Sydney Swans.
