Melbourne United has signed Australian big-man Jock Landale on a one-year deal according to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc.
The deal is set to make Landale the highest paid local player in the competition and contains an out clause if he receives NBA interest.
The power forward has spent the last two seasons playing in Europe and is expected to be a part of Australia’s Olympic squad.
Landale has been training with United over the course of the off-season.
The 2021 NBL season gets underway on January 10th with United taking on crosstown rivals South East Melbourne Phoenix.
