Adam Gilchrist joins SEN

Australian cricket great Adam Gilchrist has signed to join SEN – hosting an exciting new breakfast show alongside Tim Gossage on Mondays and Fridays 6-8am.

The pair dubbed Gilly and Goss - will commence from Friday 9th April on SENTrack 657AM in Perth, SEN Spirit 621AM Southwest, SEN Peel on DAB+ in Mandurah, and the SEN WA channel on the SEN app.

Gilchrist who is widely regarded as the greatest wicketkeeper-batsman in Test cricket history, said he was pumped to connect with passionate WA sports fans.

“I’m buzzing at the chance to link up with Goss, one of my good mates and a man with possibly more experience and knowledge of the WA and national sporting fronts than anyone. We’ll review the weekend in sport each Monday morning and preview all the big sporting events, games and matches heading into the weekend. Plus we’ll have a rolling cast of special guests to keep things interesting!” Gilchrist said.

Sports Entertainment Network Group Commercial Director Paige Wright said she was excited to announce Gilly’s signing.

“We’re passionate about producing local content for West Australians so we are thrilled to welcome Gilly aboard for what promises to be a dynamic and colourful show celebrating sport in our great state and around the country,” Wright said.

“He is an undisputed sporting great and we are honoured that he will share his insight and banter with listeners across our WA network of stations,” Wright said.

Gilchrist will also appear on a segment with acclaimed sports broadcaster Gerard Whateley on SEN in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney each week.

In other news for SEN WA, audiences will get more access to Eagles and Dockers games than ever before with every game to be broadcast across the state; and extra coverage into the Perth, Mandurah, and Bunbury markets and beyond. Additional programming and some key new signings will be announced soon.

Sports Entertainment Network launched SENTrack 657AM in Perth in March last year – bringing popular shows including Garry Lyon and Tim Watson, Whateley plus acclaimed racing broadcaster Andrew Bensley to local listeners.

The network also produces popular syndicated shows throughout WA – including the long-running Sportsday WA hosted by Karl Langdon and Paul Haselby - connecting listeners with news, views and opinions from the world of sport through a local lens on 6PR and many regional stations.

Sports Entertainment Network is also the official radio partner of Optus Stadium with offices based at the stadium – and Eagles and Dockers matches called live from one of its two premium suites in front of fans.
