Stars escape with fines as Plowman, Hartigan and Holman learn MRO fate

Seven charges were laid as the Match Review officer has handed down his verdict on a raft of incidents.

Carlton’s Lachie Plowman has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Hawthorn’s Jaeger O’Meara, the incident was assessed as careless conduct, high hmpact and high contact, he can accept a two-week ban with an early guilty plea.

Hawthorn’s Kyle Hartigan has been charged with striking Sam Walsh in the same game. The defender can accept a three-match ban with an early plea after the incident was assessed as intentional conduct, high impact and high contact.
