Carlton forward Zac Fisher could make his return this weekend having recovered from an ankle injury.
Fisher hasn’t played since Round 2, but has been back in full training for three weeks now.
He will likely replace Michael Gibbons, who will miss at least a week with a low-grade hamstring injury.
The Blues believe Gibbons could be a chance to face the Giants next week.
Meanwhile, Charlie Curnow continues to push towards a senior return.
He has been back amongst training for a few weeks now and SEN Chief Reporter Sammy Edmund believes Curnow is looking “a million bucks”.
He added the current timeline for the Blues has the key forward returning for roughly Round 16.
"He's been training solidly for several weeks. He's back into main training and looking a million bucks to the point where if you went to Carlton training and knew nothing about football and you watch this guy you would assume he was playing at the top level," Edmund told SEN Breakfast.
"I think it's looking around the Round 16 mark if you were to pigeon-hole the Blues on a date."
Curnow has not played at any level since Round 15 of 2019. Two weeks earlier he booted seven goals in a dominant display against the Bulldogs.
