Collingwood’s Jordan De Goey has been offered a one-match ban for a high bump on Melbourne’s Clayton Oliver.
De Goey’s shoulder made contact with Oliver’s head during the final quarter of Monday’s Queen’s Birthday match at the SCG.
Match Review Officer Michael Christian graded the incident as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.
SEN co-host Andy Maher thinks the MRO got the De Goey suspension right.

“I’m rapt that that’s a week,” Maher told SEN’s Bob and Andy.
“I’m not happy that Jordan De Goey’s missing a week of footy, but I’m happy that that act has been seen as potentially dangerous.
“Good on the MRO.”

De Goey starred in Collingwood’s upset 17-point win over the ladder-leading Demons, gathering a season-high 32 disposals, 10 score involvements and six clearances.
He will miss the Round 15 match against Fremantle if the Magpies accept the ban.
