Matt Crouch looks increasingly likely to depart Adelaide and explore his options as a restricted free agent, reports SEN’s Sam Edmund.
Crouch, an All-Australian and Malcolm Blight Medallist in 2017, hasn’t played a single game this season due to groin problems.
AFL Media recently reported that the Crows have tabled the 26-year-old midfielder a multi-year deal to remain at West Lakes.
Speaking on SEN’s Whateley, Edmund understands that Crouch has been shopped to rival clubs to test the market ahead of this year's trade and free agency period.
“It’s increasingly likely that he (Crouch) is going to be on the move,” Edmund said.
“His brother Brad moved to Victoria as a restricted free agent last year – Matt set to follow this year.
“He’s been shopped to rival clubs to see who’s interested. The Crows are open to it too.”
Unrestricted free agent Daniel Talia could also be on the way out of Adelaide.
Like Crouch, the experienced defender hasn’t played at all this season due a serious foot injury.
“Adelaide will also entertain some offers for his (Crouch's) teammate Daniel Talia,” Edmund added.
Adelaide confirmed on Tuesday that veteran forward and unrestricted free agent, Tom Lynch, will not be offered a contract for 2022.
