Premiers Melbourne have opted to make two more list changes, delisting Marty Hore and Kye Declase.
Hoare ruptured his ACL in January, ruling him out for the entirety of the 2021 season.
The 25-year-old played 14 games in three seasons at the club with all of those matches coming during the 2019 season.
Declase, a mid-season draftee, failed to make his debut for the Demons.
“We thank both Marty and Kye for their dedication and commitment to the club,” Melbourne list manager Tom Lamb said in a club statement.
“This is always a difficult time for everyone involved and we would like to wish both players all the best for their future endeavours.”
Meanwhile, premiership defender Michael Hibberd has signed a new one-year contract extension with the club.
