Sydney recruiter Kinnear Beatson has spoken highly of top draft prospects Nick Daicos, Sam Darcy and Jason Horne-Francis.
Daicos and Darcy are likely to join Collingwood and the Western Bulldogs respectively as father-son selections in this month’s draft, while North Melbourne appears certain to select Horne-Francis with the No.1 pick.
Beatson, the GM of Recruiting and List Strategy at the Swans, is particularly excited about Darcy’s potential.

“Young Daicos is a very good player, ball accumulator, he’s got high footy IQ. And I really like the way Sam Darcy goes about it,” he told SEN Drive.
“Despite his light frame at the moment, he’s highly competitive, he fights hard for front position, he demands the footy, he’s got strong hands overhead.
“They both look good and so does Jason Horne-Francis, he’s a very good player as well. I’d be happy to get all three of them.
“At the moment, Sam’s got a bit of body mass to put on and I would think skeletally he’s still growing.
“When he’s say mid-20s, I think he’s going to be an exceptional player.”
The Swans will currently take picks 16, 31, 39, 70 and 88 to the upcoming National Draft.
