Hawthorn reportedly wants to host a home game in Launceston on Anzac Day next season.
The Age is reporting that the Hawks have made a request to the AFL and want to play a major Victorian club in order to attract a healthy crowd.
Hawthorn’s win over Adelaide in Launceston was one of three Anzac Day clashes this year. Anzac Day falls on a Monday in 2022.

The Hawks will continue to play home games in Launceston next season after extending their contract with the Tasmanian government by one year.
The AFL’s traditional Anzac Day blockbuster is between Essendon and Collingwood at the MCG.
