North Adelaide’s Harvey Harrison has been surging up draft boards with clubs excited about the young midfielder’s versatility.
Despite the intrigue, only one South Australian club has expressed interest in the promising local product.
Harrison joined SEN’s Kymbo and the Rooch to discuss the clubs that have so far shown interest ahead of the AFL Draft later this month.
“I’ve had about nine clubs reach out to me so far,” he said.
The youngster was hesitant to reveal which South Australian team had spoken to him, but eventually revealed that it was his favourite club, the Crows.
Harrison has been dubbed an all-rounder by many league scouts as he has been asked to play all over the ground in his junior years.
“I’ve experienced really every position apart from ruck,” he said.
His skillset has been likened to Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield and Melbourne’s Christian Petracca. Harrison did not shy away from these comparisons and admitted that he models his game on the pair of All-Australian midfielders.
“I’d like to think that me and Patrick Dangerfield sort of have similar traits, I think with just speed and explosion out of contest,” he said.
“Playing in the state game against Western Australia at the (AFL) Grand Final, I tried to watch a bit of Christian Petracca as well.”
