Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly coached his last game at Manchester United.
According to reliable football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Solskjaer, who signed a three-year contract extension in July, has been sacked after a five-hour internal meeting.
United were thrashed by 4-1 by lowly Watford at Vicarage Road overnight – their fifth Premier League defeat in seven games. The loss leaves them languishing in seventh position, 12 points behind league leaders Chelsea.
The Hornets scored twice in injury time after Red Devils captain Harry Maguire was sent off with just over 20 minutes remaining.

“It was hard to watch the team playing today – it was nightmare after nightmare. It’s not acceptable,” goalkeeper David de Gea said post-game.
“We are trying to give our best and fight for the team but for sure something is very wrong.
“You can see in the games – it’s very low level, very poor. Sorry to the fans, once again.”
Solskjaer’s sacking is expected to be announced in an official club statement in the next few hours, according to Romano.
