Richmond pair struck down by COVID

Richmond pair Dion Prestia and Noah Balta have both tested positive to COVID-19 and are in isolation.

The Tigers confirmed on Saturday that close contacts to the premiership duo have been identified and tested.

Richmond’s first-to-fourth year players will start pre-season training on Monday as planned.

Prestia and Balta are not due back for pre-season until December 6.

Hawthorn youngster Finn Maginness and Essendon CEO Xavier Campbell were recently diagnosed with COVID-19.

All AFL and AFLW players, coaches and football department staff must be fully vaccinated to take part in the 2022 season.
