Tom Barrass is reportedly close to signing a six-year contract extension with West Coast.
The Herald Sun is reporting that Barrass and the Eagles are nearing an agreement on a deal that will keep the premiership defender at the club until the end of 2028.
Barrass is eligible for free agency in 2022 as he enters the final year of his contract. Sydney has shown reported interest in the 26-year-old.
Since debuting in 2015, Barrass has become a vital cog in West Coast’s defence, forming an outstanding partnership with premiership teammate Jeremy McGovern.
He’s played 99 games for the Eagles.
