Watch the Murray Open today live on the SEN app

Sports Entertainment Network have partnered with Golf NSW to broadcast live the final rounds of both the Murray Open and Western Region Open.

The broadcast will be live streamed on the event days, enabling golf fans around Australia and New Zealand to tune in to all the action.

The Murray Open and Western Open will both be live streamed in Australia and New Zealand via the Golf NSW Facebook page, nswopen.com, and on SEN TV via the SEN App.

Dates and times of live streams as follows: • The Murray Open on Friday 26 November will be live from midday to 5pm (AEST), • The Western Open on Tuesday 30 November will be live from midday to 5pm (AEST).

The broadcast will be live from both the Murray Downs and Dubbo Golf Clubs, as some of Australia's best and brightest battle it out for the $50,000 purse on offer, and one of three coveted places in the 2022 Golf Challenge NSW Open at Concord Golf Club.

General Manager of Operations at Golf NSW, Mr. Graeme Phillipson, said he was thrilled with the opportunity to highlight not only the sport but a pair of renowned venues that are usually not accessible to Australian golf fans.

"It's been a difficult year, and COVID has meant it's been a long time since any local golf has been seen live. However, the solutions offered to us by SEN have made the option of broadcast, on a small scale, viable for events in destinations like Murray Downs and Dubbo.

The reputations of the venues are second to none. Murray Downs is genuinely a spectacular course to host a tournament and fans of the sport, who may have only heard or seen pictures of it, are in for a real treat to see how some of the sport's best handle the challenge," Mr. Phillipson said.

Sports Entertainment Network CEO Craig Hutchison said the network is proud to be able to bring the Murray and Western Open on a visual platform to sports fans across the continent.

“As a network committed to providing the best local, national and international sports content to our audience, we’re excited to be offering golf fans the opportunity to tune into watch both the Murray and Western Open in 2021.” Hutchison said.

In Australia, SEN is the largest syndicator of sports radio content across Australia. The business owns and operates 51 radio stations across Australia and New Zealand, including 1116 SEN Melbourne, 1170 SEN Sydney, 1629 SEN SA in Adelaide, as well as 15 stations under its racing brand SENTrack.
