Australian guard Dante Exum will continue his career for FC Barcelona in the Liga ACB basketball league after being waived by the Houston Rockets.
The former top five NBA draft pick last played in the NBA for Cleveland, having never suited up for a rebuilding Rockets team after being included in a trade last January.
The 26-year-old was a critical piece for the Boomers in their Bronze medal Tokyo Olympics campaign averaging nine points and 3.7 rebounds a game.
The free agentβs deal with Barcelona lasts until February 28 as he looks to eventually find his way back to the NBA.
