Carlton co-captain Patrick Cripps is likely to miss just one week with a hamstring injury.
Cripps has been cleared of serious damage after undergoing scans. The star Blue injured his hamstring in his side’s 30-point loss to Gold Coast last Sunday.
It means Cripps is set to miss the Blues’ upcoming match against Port Adelaide on Sunday.
Ruckman Marc Pittonet (back) missed the club’s Round 4 defeat to the Suns and will have to pass a fitness test later this week to be available for selection.
Meanwhile, veteran midfielder Ed Curnow (knee) is aiming to return by roughly Round 7.
The Blues sit 3-1 ahead of their Round 5 meeting against the winless Power at the MCG.
