Injury carnage has hit Easter Monday, with Hawthorn ruckman Ned Reeves suffering an ugly looking shoulder dislocation.
Reeves hit the ground hard after making a spoil and immediately looked in significant pain.
Without another ruckman in the team, the Hawks will now need to get creative on-ball.
On the Geelong side of things, Cam Guthrie came from the ground early in the first quarter as well.
Guthrie is still being assessed on the bench for a calf injury, but has returned to the game with it heavily strapped.
Defender Sam De Koning meanwhile got a knee issue looked at.
