GWS forward Bobby Hill is likely to request a trade once again at the end of the year, according to SEN Chief Reporter Sam Edmund.
Hill put his hand up late in the trade period with the hope of moving to either Collingwood or Essendon, but nothing eventuated.
Edmund believes the 22-year-old will have a number of clubs coming after his signature this spring.
“Bobby Hill is still as keen as he was last year to be traded out of GWS,” Edmund told SEN Breakfast.
“He still very much wants to be playing elsewhere. The only difference is the list of potential suitors has grown significantly.
“Essendon and Collingwood last year and now the lights are on everywhere. A number of other clubs have thrown their hand up.
“This could be the first trade done when the window opens later this year unless there’s an enormous backflip from the player, but that’s certainly not the case.”
When asked if a change of coach at the Giants would factor into Hill’s desire to leave, Edmund added: “I don’t think it’s that simplistic for Bobby Hill.”
The small forward has played eight games so far this season, kicking 7.1 and averaging 9.6 disposals per match.
