Bendigo Stadium enters into exciting naming rights partnership with Red Energy

Bendigo Stadium has a new naming rights sponsor with the famous venue to be renamed Red Energy Arena from June 2022.

In a big boost to local and community sport in the Bendigo region, Red Energy is set to help Bendigo Stadium Limited (BSL) raise brand recognition to a national level and enhance the stadium’s status as a top-tier facility.

The Bendigo Stadium is home to the WNBL’s Bendigo Spirit as well as the NBL1 franchise the Bendigo Braves.

Bendigo Stadium CEO Dennis Bice was excited to enter into a partnership with Red Energy.

“This is a fantastic collaboration and partnership with a company that is Australian owned with a focus around building better communities,” Bice said via a statement.

“We are excited to see the beginning of a long-term partnership for both organisations.”

Red Energy’s GM of Business Development David Holman was equally as excited to support the Bendigo region.

“This is an incredibly exciting opportunity where we can demonstrate our leadership in renewable energy as well as our support for community events in Bendigo," Holman said via a statement.

“Red Energy Arena will be at the centre of Bendigo’s sporting and entertainment events and become part of the city’s vernacular!”

The arena is set to host a bevy of big-name events in 2022, with Australian artist Guy billed to play out of the stadium in June.

Red Energy has signed on as a naming rights partner for an initial two-year period with the stadium to be rebranded with internal and external signage, including LED lighting.
