Sydney ruckman Peter Ladhams can accept a three-match ban for rough conduct.
The Swan collected Melbourne-listed Casey Demons youngster Taj Woewodin high after the ball had already crossed the boundary line during their VFL clash on the weekend.
The suspension will see Ladhams unavailable for the majority of Sydney’s finals campaign. He will not be able to play again this year unless the Swans lose the Qualifying Final and then make the Grand Final the long way.
The 24-year-old has played 11 games for Sydney this season, after crossing over from Port Adelaide.
The Swans travel to take on Melbourne at the MCG on Friday night.
