Geelong will turn their attention to securing prized duo Tanner Bruhn and Ollie Henry after missing out on Jacob Hopper, according to Channel 7’s Mitch Cleary.
GWS on-baller Hopper has reportedly requested a trade to Richmond, after the Cats showed significant interest in the 25-year-old.
But after Hopper opted for Punt Road, Cleary reports that the Cats will now turn their attention to securing the services of Collingwood forward Henry and Bruhn, who is expected to leave the Giants ahead of next season.
Henry is in just his second season at the Pies, but remains out of Collingwood’s senior side and is yet to recommit for next season.
If he does join Geelong, he’ll link up with older brother Jack, who has become a mainstay in Chris Scott’s side.
Geelong is one of a number of clubs interested in Bruhn, with The Age reporting that North Melbourne is also looking at making a play for the former pick 12.
