More change is expected at Manly following Des Hasler’s sacking on Thursday.
With the veteran coach spending the last four years at Brookvale, The Daily Telegraph’s Michael Carayannis expects that several of his support staff will follow him out the door.
“His support staff, his long-term head of performance Donny Singe I’d say is in a fair bit of trouble,” Carayannis said on SEN 1170 Breakfast.
“Michael Monaghan, a former captain and member of Des Hasler’s coaching staff is unlikely to be there as well.
“That’s on the back of Chad Randall leaving to be Cameron Ciraldo’s assistant at Canterbury.
“So there’s going to be a mass changing of the guard at Manly.”
With Hasler out of the seat, Anthony Seibold is expected to be announced as the club’s next coach.
Carayannis expects the former South Sydney and Brisbane coach to “bring in his own people” to fill important footy department roles.
“Anthony Seibold once he’s officially appointed coach will bring in his own people,” Carayannis said.
“I’m not sure exactly where that will land yet but there’s going to be more change at Brooky no doubt.”
Seibold is currently England’s rugby union coach and is set to fly to London this weekend.
