Former AFL Rising Star winner Lewis Taylor has announced his retirement.
The 27-year-old played 124 career games – 112 for Brisbane and 12 for Sydney.
He was delisted by the Swans following the 2022 season, where he played one game as a substitute.
Taylor’s debut season was a memorable one, averaging 17 disposals and playing all 22 games for the Lions, beating out Marcus Bontempelli in the Rising Star.
Taylor won the award by a single vote after being nominated in Round 9.
After 124 games (112 as a Lion), Lewy Taylor has decided to officially hang up the boots.
