Shai Bolton commits to Richmond on long-term deal

Richmond star Shai Bolton has signed a five-year contract extension with the club.

One of the breakout stars of the 2022 season, the 24-year-old has recommitted until the end of 2028.

A dual premiership player, Bolton earned All-Australian honours last season, kicking 43.41 and averaging 18 disposals per game.

“I have loved the club since I got drafted. I love the culture here, all the boys, the coaching staff and playing at the MCG,” he told the club’s website.

“It was pretty easy to decide in the end… I am super excited to stay here.”

He was already contracted to the club until the end of 2023.

Bicks drilled down on Adelaide's midfield mix, and Matt Crouch's spot in the side.
