The Rugby League Players Association is considering the idea of delaying games from kick-off and interrupting the broadcast of matches in its latest protest move against the NRL.
The bombshell report from the Daily Telegraph’s David Riccio and Brent Read suggests the RLPA could soon instruct players to mess with the game-day experience.
It comes as players covered up the Telstra logo on the jerseys as the newest tactic as the RLPA looks to convince the NRL to come back to the negotiating table.
A media strike commenced three weeks ago and it's understood the Players’ Association is bracing for its latest efforts to have minimal impact.
The players have already broken their contracts in covering up the Telstra logo and refusing to run out on time would prove another breach.
