St Kilda forward/midfielder Jade Gresham has joined Essendon.
As a restricted free agent, St Kilda had the ability to match Essendon’s offer for the key defender but opted not to.
According to SEN's Sam Edmund, the Saints are now set to receive an end of Round 1 compensation pick for losing Gresham.

The 26-year-old played 23 games for St Kilda in 2023 averaging 17.6 disposals, 0.9 goals and 3.4 inside 50s.
The former No. 18 draft pick played 136 games for St Kilda across eight years at the club.
He joins fellow free agents Ben McKay and Todd Goldstein who have also moved to Essendon this off-season.
