West Coast insists Elliot Yeo, Jack Darling and Liam Duggan will be at the club in 2024, hitting back at trade talk surrounding the trio.
Darling’s name was raised in reports surrounding a deal for pick one between the Eagles and other clubs, but there’s been no major speculation on Yeo or Duggan.
In a statement on Saturday afternoon (AEDT), the Eagles said: “Media speculation about the club discussing trades involving Elliot Yeo, Jack Darling and Liam Duggan are completely unfounded & untrue.”
The West Australian reported on Friday that Darling was on the trade table for the right price, with Hawthorn, North Melbourne and Melbourne all coming for the first pick of the 2023 National Draft.
Darling is contracted until the end of 2025 on a salary reported to be in the range of $800,000 annually.
The 31-year-old has played 277 games for the West Coast Eagles since debuting in 2011 and kicked 26 goals this season from 20 appearances.
West Coast is also looking to entice Hawthorn's Tyler Brockman to the club in the final three days of the 2023 trade period, which finishes on Wednesday night.
