Fremantle forward Lachie Schultz has been traded to Collingwood.
Schultz put in a bombshell trade request to join the Magpies last week, with family reasons behind his decision.
The Dockers receive Collingwood’s future first-round pick and pick 34 - which they received in the Taylor Adams trade - in exchange for the 25-year-old.
Schultz is coming off a strong season where he booted 33 goals from 23 games alongside averages of 15.9 disposals and 4.1 tackles per appearance.
He has been Fremantle’s top goalkicker across coach Justin Longmuir’s four-year stint at the club with 97 majors.
Schultz played 90 games for Fremantle after originally being drafted out of VFL side Williamstown with pick No. 57 in the 2018 Draft.
