16 rookies from 13 AFL clubs have been upgraded to senior lists for the 2024 season.
The list was revealed by AFL Media’s Cal Twomey who named each player that has been upgraded.

Star Hawthorn midfielder Jai Newcombe headlines the names to be upgraded after he was originally selected in the 2021 Mid-Season Draft.
Premiership defender Oleg Markov also earns an upgraded after originally joining Collingwood via the 2023 pre-season supplemental selection period.
Overall, the 16 players upgraded possess 718 games of AFL experience combined. Put together, they played 245 games in 2023 alone.
