After suffering a 42-run defeat only two days earlier, the Adelaide Strikers have bounced back in dominant fashion against the Perth Scorchers after defeating them by nine wickets.
Matt Short was the star of the show for the Strikers, as he put up an outstanding innings in his team’s run chase.
Short lasted the full innings and scored a game high 76 runs off 51 balls. Chris Lynn also put in an impressive innings, as he scored 50 runs off 33 balls.
The only wicket for the Scorchers came from Lance Morris, who finished with figures of 1/25 off his three overs.
The Strikers will look to continue their winning ways when they take on the Hurricanes in their next match on Tuesday.
As for the Scorchers, their next opportunity at bouncing back from this loss will be against the Sydney Thunder on Monday.
