AN INJURY cloud hovers above Dustin Martin just four days out from Richmond’s opening round clash with Gold Coast.
Martin today underwent scans on a leg complaint. While those scans ultimately came back clear, the triple Norm Smith medallist remains in some doubt for Saturday’s reunion with former coach Damien Hardwick.

Tigers officials are hopeful Martin will feature, but complicating matters is an early season fixture which has handed Richmond a five-day break before a Round 1 meeting with Carlton.
Martin has enjoyed an excellent pre-season ahead of his 15th season, this time under new coach Adem Yze.
Martin is again expected to divide his time between the midfield and forward line.
