St Kilda wingman Mason Wood has been stretched from the ground in the first quarter of his side's clash with Collingwood after a horror landing in a marking contest.
Wood landed on his head and neck in an ugly incident that halted play for nearly 10 minutes.
Gerard Whateley described the incident as "distressing" on AFL Nation.
Wood appeared to be conscious, talking and moving his arms and legs as he was taken from the ground.
Zak Jones will replace him as the substitute.
More to come.
