In a special edition of This Is Your Journey – thanks to Tobin Brothers*, Sam Edmund revisits his chat with one of our own Corey 'Homicide' Williams who tragically lost his battle with cancer on Friday.
Corey, affectionately known as 'Homicide', was a beloved figure in Australian basketball, and before becoming a part of the SEN family as a regular contributor to The Run Home with Andy Maher and Andrew Gaze, Williams was a star on the court.
In his chat with Edmund, the New York native looked back at his glittering career which saw him play in college and all over the world including China, Sweden, Germany and Venezuela.
During the 2000s, Williams found a home in Townsville with the Crocodiles in the NBL.
Down Under is where Williams shone brightest as he was named league MVP in 2010 as well as making All-NBL teams in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
