Collingwood is reportedly attempting to lure Mark Keane back to the club.
Channel Seven’s Theo Doropoulos is reporting that the Pies are keen on the Adelaide defender.
Kane played five games for the Magpies across 2020 and 2021 before returning home to Ireland during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He joined Adelaide in 2023, playing the final five games of the season and in 2024 is enjoying the best form of his career.
“There’s a reunion brewing at the Pies. It’s understood Collingwood is circling now Crow Mark Keane, who is open to a return to Melbourne,” Doropoulos said.
“He’s contracted to Adelaide until the end of 2025, but he looms as the natural long-term replacement for the retired Nathan Murphy.”
Adelaide will host West Coast on Sunday afternoon, with Keane likely to take on breakout star Jake Waterman.
The 24-year-old is averaging 17.2 disposals, 5.9 marks and 4.1 rebound 50s so far this year and leads the Crows for intercept marks with 19.
